By popular request, OSB is inaugurating our Aficionado Club. Designed for Opera Santa Barbara patrons who currently attend our productions alone, the Aficionado Club is a great way to meet people who share your passion for opera- so there’s always a friendly face in the crowd! 

A season subscription or single ticket purchase is all that is needed to join the Aficionado Club. Here are some of the ways the Aficionado Club will enhance your opera-going experience:

• An inaugural wine/cheese reception for the Aficionado’s Club will be held at the Opera Santa Barbara offices on October 20 at 7:00 p.m. You will have an opportunity to meet our new Artistic Director, Jose Maria Condemi.
• A section in the theatre will be set aside for the Aficionado Club to hear our pre-performance lectures together. These lectures begin 45-minutes prior curtain.
• A pre-opera dinner at Opal prior to the opening night performance of La Traviata. Cost is $35 per person.
• A pre-opera lunch at the Paradise Café prior to the matinee of La Serva Padrona/Trouble in Tahiti. Cost is $20 per person.
